Before the stars existed (that would be a long time ago, when the Universe was about a thousand years old), there existed very few things made of something more complicated than helium. Getting protons and neutrons to get together and make simple atoms and well, the victory of matter over antimatter was more than we could ask for, isn't it? But well, we know that things are made of elements heavier than lithium (some of which was supposed to be 'built' at those stages).
Well then, some clouds of hydrogen and helium were attractive enough to get into a relatively small volume. This produces high pressure and temperature, conditions needed for a lot of interesting physics stuff. We are now interested in nuclear fusion, which melds light atoms to form heavier ones. So hydrogen burns to helium, and later on, helium turns into carbon and we go on, creating the heavier elements. This is interesting to us, because it's about the only reason we have to explain how elements such as iron came to exist.
So where is the We Are All Made Of Stars part? Well, humans (and most things biological) are made mostly of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, etc. (even gold. There's some gold in us. All of us). You put two and two together. Sometime, somewhere, a star exploded and the little bits that got blasted away came to be you and me. We once were stars.
Cool & groovy with chunky bass for your pleasure! Enjoy!

This will be one of my most artistic expression in quality progressive electronic dance music & its journey. Mixing this set wasnt easy as most tracks are very unique & in a world of its own. Keeping the momentum smooth by mixing in rhythm, maintaining its feel & direction of the trip while expressing the message is what I would like to portray here. To enjoy this set, I recommend you to listen loud on a decent sound system (preferably with a sub woofer) or headphones for a better feel & experience as you taste the new technology that's behind the house music production sounds of the new era!

The idea of the 'subconscious' as a powerful or potent agency has allowed the term to become prominent in the New Age and self-help literature's, in which investigating or controlling its supposed knowledge or power is seen as advantageous. The 'subconscious' may also be supposed to contain any number of primitive or otherwise disavowed instincts, urges, desires and thoughts.
My soul knows what I wanna express here but at the moment I'm kinda lost for words to describe exactly how I feel while producing this set. Let the music motivate you & hopefully uplift your conscience, consciously or subconsciously towards an euphoric state of mind.
Music can move us to the heights or depths of emotion. It can persuade us to buy something, or remind us of our first date. It can lift us out of depression when nothing else can. It can get us dancing to its beat. But the power of music goes much, much further. Indeed, music occupies more areas of our brain than language does.
According to proven research, humans are a musical species. Music is irresistible, haunting, and unforgettable!

Altough I usually stick to mostly new tracks in my podcast sets, this time its slightly different. I had to sneak a couple tracks from 2008 just to get that right feel and momentum.
If we know enough to say the solar system is a filigree construction, we might reasonably assume we know where all its bits are. But lurking in the solar system's dark recesses, rumour has it, is an unsighted world - Planet X, a frozen body perhaps as large as Mars, or even Earth is going to collide with our planet somewhere in 2012/13.
One of the most respected science journals, Nature, reported that three-quarters of the Earth's species are wiped out every 62 to 65 million years. It's been 65 million years since the Cretaceous-Tertiary disaster that wiped out the dinosaurs. Are we at the end of our time?
There have been many ends and just as many beginnings.
When The World Ends - It Won't Be The First Time - And Perhaps Not The Last!
Although I don't see any convincing hard evidence that Planet X is the "end of time" as we know it, I can't help but wonder...
As my mind wonders, this mix appears!

Another brilliant set i believe. Its not often for me to praise myself but what the heck, I did a good job. Thanks everyone for the overwhelming response when this set was released on 88.9fm last week. For those who wants a copy of this mix, its finally up! Enjoy!
I beleive this set speaks for itself. Listen carefully and you will get my message.... comprende! I usually go into this momentum during my last 1-2 hours of a set. It never fails to rock the dance floor I tell you.
Id like to dedicate this set to a friend named Rohan. Thanks for keeping the dance floors alive with your super dance moves.. and your music contribution in this mix is well recognized!

On 12th May 08, the devastating cyclone Nargis had significantly destroyed many areas in the deltas of Burma/Myanmar killing a staggering 100,000 people and leaving hunderds and thousands of victims homeless.
Considering Burma/Myanmar's geopolitical scene of Military oppression and constant violations of Human rights, the humanitarian relief and rehabilitation has been absolutely dismall to say the least. Not only have survivors of the cyclone been physically deprived of humanitarian aid, many have also suffered psychologically from the massive trauma of such a disaster.
In light of this, The Super Psych Crew will not just sit on the couch and not do anything. We thus plan to help the survivors there out by helping out provide psycho-social relief by openning up a mental health clinic in an IDP(Internally Displaced Persons) there. Its not going to be easy, but with your help, we know we can do it.
This set is perfect for the beach. Im leaving to Tioman Island for a gig in 2 hours and I just finish my set. To those of you who cant make it, I hope you enjoy this one.

Microhouse has its roots in the minimal techno, glitch (both developed in the early 90's), and house (developed in the mid-80's) genres of music. Its first echoes appeared in the glitch album by German experimental artist Oval, in 1993. Like many contemporary electronic genres, Microhouse has many influences, most notably techno and the "click and pop" garage house that has emerged from Yorkshire Bleeps and Bass (or "Bleep"), glitch and minimal techno. Contrasting with tech house, which is often thought of as 'house with techno melodic elements', microhouse is more aptly described as 'housey minimal techno' - a marriage of the funky and groovy backroom house elements with glitch and the driving, repetitive sound of techno.
The first microhouse track to gain mainstream popularity by a non-glitch artist was Isolee's 1999 anthem, 'Beau Mot Plage'. However, microhouse did not begin to rapidly build in popularity until the early 2000s with the advent of record labels such as Kompakt, Perlon, Spectral Sound, Fabric, Telegraph and Force Inc. The term microhouse is usually credited to music journalist Philip Sherburne, writing for the magazine The Wire in 2001, to describe, according to Stelfox, "the spectral, hypnotic interpretation of classic Chicago grooves emerging on labels such as Perlon, Kompakt, Playhouse, Ongaku, Klang Elektronik and the Mille Plateaux family of imprints-most notably Force Tracks and Force Inc- at the turn of the millennium.
Starts off with a great track by Trentemoller and it gradually builds up really quick towards a kick ass booty shaking trip to electrifying house thingamagic of current dancefloor hits. This mix set is produced for mainstreem club sounds of the 1st quarter of 2008.
